A Brief Introduction

The Alta Sierra Wine Shop was opened in 2009 by Tina and Ray Yedding with Dave Luce as a silent partner. Dave bought the shop from them in 2011. His mission as the owner of the shop was to search out beautiful wines featuring the small, the artisanal, the producers of wine with integrity who respected their workers and the land.

Dave continued his commitment to this pursuit for the 15 years he owned and ran the wine shop. In addition to offering beautiful wines at the best price point, he created a unique space that is welcoming, friendly, safe, and fun. Many friendships have been forged not only between Dave and his customers, but between the customers themselves at the Alta Sierra Wine Shop. This, more than anything, makes the Alta Sierra Wine Shop special.

My name is Dana Price. Dave sold the shop to me July 1 of 2024. It is my utmost pleasure to be the owner of this precious shop. I will continue the legacy of offering beautiful wines at the best price, offer the community opportunities to fund raise with wine tasting events, and facilitate the unique, caring, friendly, safe, and inclusive culture that is the Alta Sierra Wine Shop.
